This is the easiest but the most costly way to get a PG or Room as the broker charges a high brokerage of 20 days to 1 month of the rent of your room. For example, If your is 20,000 per month, then the broker will also take a fee of 12000 to 20,000 as a commission or brokerage. so, in this method, you will have to pay upto 60,000 total in the first month which is 20,000 as rent ,20000 as security and another 20,000 as brokerage to the broker.
If budget is not your issue then you can go with a broker as it is the easiest and fastest way to get a PG or Room in Delhi. As the brokers are locals in the area, they know all the properties which are listed for rent and finding a good room through them is a easy task.

If you are concerned about the budget, then you can go for a room in a sharing flat. in that, you will share the flat with other people and the cost of electricity and food etc will get divided among them. this can be a cost effective method. Or you can also go for a PG with a sharing room which can cost you around 12k to 14k a month including food.
A single room in a PG would be a better alternative if you wish to live alone and are able to prepare your own meals. However, this option can be very expensive and can cost up to $25,000 per month when including meals in Old Rajendra Nagar.
